Lucknow: Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Goel Campus, in collaboration with Bhanwar Rathore Design Studio (BRDS), organised an insightful career guidance workshop for students of Classes IX to XI, introducing them to the exciting world of Design and Fashion Technology.
The session was led by Sanchit Verma, Deputy Regional Director, BRDS, an accomplished education management professional with over eight years of experience in career counselling and design entrance coaching, and Mr. Shubham Gupta, Faculty at BRDS, an expert in Fashion Management, UI/UX Design, Creative Thinking, and Portfolio Development.
The workshop provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the diverse career opportunities in the fields of Design and Fashion Technology—among the most dynamic and rapidly growing professions today. The speakers highlighted various specialisations, including Fashion Design, Product Design, UI/UX Design, Interior Design, Communication Design, and Animation, while explaining the skills, creativity, and innovation required to excel in these fields. Students were also guided on portfolio building, design aptitude, and preparation for leading design entrance examinations, enabling them to make informed career choices.
Emphasising the importance of nurturing creativity and informed decision-making, Principal Dr. Rina Pathak remarked, “Every great innovation begins with a creative mind.
